Images of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 leaked ahead of the Unpacked announcement

Less than two weeks before Samsung's Unpacked event on July 10, images have allegedly leaked of two new foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

This story is part of Samsung EventCNET's collection of news, tips and advice on Samsung's most popular products.

As 9to5Google reported, leaker Evan Blass posted rendered images on social media and his Substack newsletter late Thursday. Additional images were posted on the website WinFuture showing additional colors of the two new devices expected to be announced at Unpacked, which will take place in Paris.

Judging by the new images, the Fold 6 appears to be available in pink, dark navy, and silver, while the Flip 6 is pictured in silver, green, light blue, and yellow.

Updates to the Flip 6 are likely to be minor, at least in terms of design, but the phone will likely include a new processor to match the Galaxy S' flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, although there could be multiple variants. The Flip 6 could also feature a larger battery and an improved camera.

The Fold 6 could have a larger cover display and a design similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It could also come in a variant but may not get a camera upgrade.

Samsung has dominated the foldable phone market so far, but now competes with Google's Pixel Fold, the OnePlus Open and the Motorola Razr. The company has hinted that both new phones will get new artificial intelligence features.
