Hempstead, NY – Golf student and athlete at Hofstra University Tori Bien has been selected to represent the Pride at the 2024 NCAA Career in Sports Forum, to be held May 30-June 2, 2024, at NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The four-day event brought together over 180 student-athletes from across the country to explore career opportunities in sports, particularly collegiate sports. Attendees had the opportunity to network with their peers and learn from industry experts about the various career opportunities available in the sports industry and identify valuable personal strengths for those career opportunities.

The forum included numerous networking events as well as opportunities for personal and professional development. Throughout the event, it was emphasized that in order to be successful in a career in sport, one must be self-aware and adapt easily.

“The Career in Sports Forum was an incredibly insightful experience that taught me a lot about potential careers in sports and the lasting impact a career in this field can have,” said Bien. “It was a great privilege to be selected to represent Hofstra University and the Hofstra Athletics Department at NCAA Headquarters.”
