Three-star linebacker 2025 CJ Crite commits to Cincinnati Football

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati has another linebacker on the team: Lincoln County's three-star 2025 signee CJ Crite committed on Friday.

According to 247Sports, Crite is the 538th-ranked player on the national team and the 55th-ranked linebacker.

He chose Cincinnati over schools like Appalachian State and South Florida.

The 6'1″, 195-pound slugger is the first linebacker to commit to the Class of 2025. He is a solid tackler who grabs and strikes with focused aggression. His speed is what stands out the most, as he can also be a weapon as a punt blocker on special teams.

Crite plays mostly middle linebacker and is a wide receiver on the other side of the ball. Check out his highlights here.
