BGT star shows full extent of his injuries while bedridden in UK hospital as co-stars fly home

After a member of the SSaulabi Performance Troupe sustained a serious injury during the final of Britain's Got Talent, he had to remain in hospital while his co-stars were able to fly home.

Instagram users were confronted with a disturbing snapshot of the South Korean artist

The finale of Britain's Got Talent is turning into a nightmare for one of the candidates.

A member of the SSaulabi Performance Troupe shocked his followers on Instagram by revealing the severity of an injury he sustained during the live show on Sunday.

The South Korean taekwondo artist was one of many contestants hoping to perform at the Royal Variety Performance and win the £250,000 prize. Unfortunately, victory was snatched from their grasp by singer Sydnie Christmas, who wowed judges and viewers with an emotional rendition of 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow'.

To make matters worse, as a minority of ITV viewers spotted in a hard-to-miss moment on Sunday 2 June, the artist struggled to leave the stage after injuring himself during his routine.

In her Instagram Story on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, the performer revealed that her leg and right foot were heavily bandaged as she lay in bed. This comes after another photo in which she could be seen alongside her friends surrounded by Paddington-themed gifts. They had previously shown her leg in a painful-looking splint.

The artist, who performs under the Instagram name @chaw._.chaw_, shocked Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon on Sunday when the pair were seen crawling off the stage and unable to stand on their feet.

Attentive viewers flocked to social media after noticing the incident: “Did one of the cast just break their foot? That looked serious #bgtfinal,” wrote one fan on X, also known as Twitter.

“That's really cool but did I just see Mateyboi break his foot and crawl off? That must hurt #bgtfinal,” added another, while a third commented: “To be honest these martial artists should win. I've never seen half of these people before and that's serious talent… Also one literally crawled off the stage and probably broke his foot in the process so fair play #BGT.”
