How to watch Gypsy Rose Lifetime documentary series “Life After Lockup”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard's new docuseries about her life after prison premieres tonight on Lifetime. Here's how to watch Gypsy Rose: Life after prison and when new episodes of the highly anticipated documentary will be released.

The Lifetime docuseries follows 32-year-old Gypsy Rose, who is serving eight and a half years for her role in the murder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. Gypsy pleaded guilty to second-degree murder of her mother in 2016, while her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole.

According to ABC News, medical records and an interview with Blanchard, Dee Dee deceived her daughter and doctors throughout her childhood, making them believe Gypsy suffered from numerous health problems, including leukemia, epilepsy, visual and hearing impairments, and was dependent on a wheelchair.

In eight episodes Gypsy Rose: Life after prison The focus is on Gypsy after her much-publicized release, during which, according to Lifetime, during her first twelve hours of freedom, she is “followed by paparazzi, threatened with a parole violation if she does not immediately leave the state of Missouri, and reveals whether she has consummated her marriage.”

The first episode, “So This Is Freedom,” delves into Gypsy's first hours after her highly publicized release from prison, while the second episode, “Independence Is Scary,” follows her marriage to her now-ex-husband Ryan Anderson. Lifetime teased that viewers can also expect “explosive drama” after Gypsy's stepmother Kristy Blanchard makes contact with Gypsy's ex-fiancé Ken Urker (who Gypsy is currently in a relationship with).
